No need to be tech savvy, I’m sure we’ll be able to determine the source of the snippet! Firstly this error you’re encountering is normal if there is an existing Analytics property existing on your site, an Analytics property which may be from another Google account or elsewhere.

In order to determine the source of the snippet can you share the following:

1. Do you have any other Google accounts, or is there are other WordPress administrators of this site?
2. Do you recall setting up Analytics previously on this site, before seeting up Site Kit – maybe through your WooCommerce integration?
3. Can you share your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred.

Once we know the above we can advise on this further.

Thanks for the update. Based on the above you may need to checked the following in order to remove the snippet which you don’t have access to:

• Your theme configuration options (typically via your themes customizer). I coudn’t find any Google Analytics specific configurations from checking the theme theme which it looks like you have active
• Your theme files, in particular header.php (appearance > theme editor . header.php)
• Other third party plugins with Analytics integration – including your WooCommerce plugins.

If you want to share your Site Health information using this form I can see the other plugins you have active.

@sacwebb1 No problem at all. And certainly, I’m happy to provide some suggestions on how to determine the source of your existing Analytics snippet. There are a number of steps involved, but please do ask if you’d like me to expand on any below:

1. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
2. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”. (This will temporarily deactivate other plugins and switch to a default theme – for you only, as a logged in user).
3. Search your sites source code, I suspect you won’t find any Analytics snippet placed (Right click on your homepage, click on “View Page Source”). I’ve made a quick video showing you how to search for your snippet.
4. Back in troubleshooting mode click on the “Enable” option next to any your other plugins one at a time, before then visiting your sites source code once more and checking does the snippet remain (each time). You’ll also need to refresh the source code screen each time.
5. If you are able to locate the snippet in your source code you’ll know which plugin if any has placed this snippet (the one you last enabled via troubleshooting mode above). If you’re unable to determine a plugin is responsible continue below to check your theme.
6. Back in troubleshooting mode select a different theme, the theme normally activated on your site.
7. Search the source code once mode (Please refresh the page before checking)
8. If the snippet appears that means the Analytics tracking snippet is placed in your theme files directly or alternatively a theme configuration.
