Hi, where exactly would we be able to see the site search statistics? We have integrated Google Analytics 4 recently and are only able to find the view_search_results event in the last 30 minutes in Analytics with the parameter search_term. Anywhere we could see the statistics in whole? Thank you!

    Hi,

In GA4 now basically everything works on an event basis. On the plugin back-end you can set which actions should trigger which events.

These events then are sent to the GA servers, you can sometimes see them triggered on the live view window. Then over time on the Engament -> Events panel you can check the details for these events. GA4 is highly flexible, your back-end may look completely different from my screenshots though.

That is as much as I know, unfortunately I am not very experienced with advanced GA4 metrics. All I know that you can create all kinds of views for these events, but I don’t exactly know how. I usually just check the events view.

    All the best,
    Ernest
