Installed Site Kit and successfully setup Console and Page Speed Insights, but failed to complete setup for Analytics. The green line keeps moving across the page forever.

Can anyone suggest me a solution for this issue?

    Thanks

Thanks for reaching out @ashoksri. Given that you’re encountering a continuous loading bar when connect Google Analytics, please share the following:

    1. When attempting to connect Google Analytics from a Chrome browser incognito window does the same occur? If so, please share any browser console errors that appear.?
    2. At what stage during Analytics set up does this occur? I ask as if this occurs when you’re selecting a property only, you may wish to try selecting a different Google Analytics account first.

Let me know if you have any questions with the above.

I am having the exact same issue. cannot get Analytics to load and that loading bar keeps on going forever. I have tried on other browsers and incognito and issue is always there.

I havent even got to seleting a property stage yet.

    thanks please help!

    Hello @jamesosborne, thanks for reply.

    1. I have tried on Chrome browser incognito window but issue remains same. Loading bar keeps on going forever.

    2. I haven’t even got to selecting a property stage yet.

Hi everyone, I am also having the same issue. I found on another thread there was someone who was facing the same issue but was resolved.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-complete-setup-for-analytics/

What he did was directly entered into Analytics webpage and created a new account to link with the website. @jamesosborne do you have the steps how to link the Analytics with the website? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the additional information @ashoksri. To troubleshoot this further, please follow the steps below:

    1. Login to your live site from a Chrome browser incognito window.
    2. Install and activate the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
    3. Navigate to “Plugins > Health Check & Troubleshooting > Troubleshoot”.
    4. From the same screen click on the “Available Plugins” tab at the top right and then click on the “Enable” option next to “Site Kit by Google“.
    5. Attempt to connect the Google Analytics module once more.

The above will help in the event you’re impacted by a third party plugin conflict. If the same occurs, please share your Site Health information and we can investigate this further.
