– What happens if I installed WP Maintenance mode again. Will analytics be troubled again and does that automatically resolves after disabling the plugin?

– I got mailed by google analytics for downloading an Analytics Tag. Is that necessary / recommended?

Great news! If you’re finding delays when checking the Analytics platform I can’t be sure of the cause. I suspect with a new account or property on your recently setup site it may just take some more time for sufficient data.

Is it ok to leave the topic open and I get back to it later do today? Then I can draw a final conclusion as things seem to be able to change quickly sometimes.

Good question. If you’re using a maintenance mode plugin this overwrites your WordPress front end, meaning your website won’t be tracked, with no Analytics data being recorded. You may be able to insert Google Analytics tracking code manually or using the maintenance mode plugin, although this is independent to a your Site Kit placed snippet.

I can’t be sure of the contents of the email you received, but I suspect it was an email in relation to your newly added site. If you want to share more info here I can check, although you may have better luck at the Analytics Help Center.
