Analytics data/pagination inconsistency

I understand that you are finding inconsistency in the data reported in analytics, and it seems to be somewhat related to pagination.

As a first step, please clear the analytics cache by going to WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Clear analytics cache.

If the issue still persists, please try Reimporting Historical Data in Analytics > Settings, and check again.

If the problem remains unresolved, please share a copy of your site’s System Status so we can get a better idea of your site setup. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Also, could you please navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Logs and from the dropdown on the right side, please see if there are any logs starting with the words fatal-error? Please let us know what you find.

I cleared the analytics cache and reran this same report. The order of the entries changed, so the specific items that were duplicated/missed was different, but the inconsistency was still there on different items.

I am not able to reimport historical data — the Start button does not highlight no matter which date range I select (with or without the Skip checkbox also)

There are no fatal errors at the time of generating the report. The last fatal error was on July 6 (related to paypal checkout)

Can you try to update to the latest WooCommerce 6.8.0 version and check if the problem persists?

I have updated to Woocommerce version 6.8.0 and the problem is still there, both before and after clearing the analytics cache.

The first instance of the inconsistent data usually happens between page 2 and page 3 of the pagination

On 2022-08-01 when the status report was generated, there were 14 pending actions (Pending: 14). Are there so many pending actions still? If so, please go to WooCommmerce > Status > Scheduled Actions > Pending and try manually running the actions.

If these two steps do not make any difference, then it might be your theme or one of the plugins you’re using that’s causing the issue.
