Hi! I installed Algolia earlier today. Setup was a breeze, everything is working fine. I mean, almost everything. Analytics in Algolia dashboard isn’t working. All panels say “Failed. Load failed” and application stats still show 0 (zero) operations.

Is there a delay or something is wrong with my setup?

It may take a little bit of time, as well as some traffic to be tracked before things show up. I don’t know of any very specific parts of the plugin’s codebase that interacts specifically with analytics.

Thanks, @tw2113. It’s been a while, and stats still don’t show up.

I can’t validate events, following this documentation steps. When I run window.aa; in browser’s Console, it outputs undefined.

Any other idea? Maybe I messed up setting it up?

Nevermind. By default, Algolia doesn’t show today in stats panels. So, since I implemented it today, nothing was showing up — because nothing existed yesterday.

Thanks again, and sorry to bother you, @tw2113!

For what it’s worth, we don’t have the insights stuff in the template file by default. So there’s no window.aa() usage without doing some customizations to the templates.

You can read about how to go about that over at https://github.com/WebDevStudios/wp-search-with-algolia/wiki/Customize-Templates
