    Hi there,

    I’ve got Analytics installed on an AMP site using the default “Analytics” tab and JSON configuration:

        {
        "vars": {
            "account": "UA-55857839-1"
        },
        "triggers": {
            "trackPageview": {
                "on": "visible",
                "request": "pageview"
            }
        }

    For some reason however it’s reporting no bounce rate at all. It’s not an issue with the Analytics configuration as it was reporting fine prior to moving the site to AMP.

    Best,
    Matt

  • @somewhatmedia While it may be a question for the Analytics Help Center lets make sure your AMP analytics is working as expected. Can you inform me of the following:

    1. Have you just recently enabled AMP on your site?
    2. Can you view live traffic on your site using the Analytics real time report?

    Hi @jamesosborne – thanks for getting back to me.

    1) No – I built this site from the ground with the AMP plugin installed.
    2) Yes – live traffic in the Real-time report works fine.

    Best,
    Matt

    Thanks for sharing, and great that you managed to build your site with AMP, excellent job. You can submit your site for consideration on the upcoming new AMP website here.

    As your Analytics is firing successfully the issue with your bounce rates can be addressed using the Analytics Help Center. It may be a case of waiting for the correct metrics if you’ve recently switched to AMP Analytics, although the product experts should be able to assist.
