I saw a post on this issue from a couple of weeks ago…about a blocking script?

Here’s a quick screencast of my issue. Any help sure would be appreciated. Thank you and have a good day.

I was able to recreate the issue on our DEV server and it appears to be a bug in the latest release. There should not be any other options besides “Create New Child Theme” until there is at least one child theme in the themes folder. This is causing the scripts on the page to fail.

I will fix this and push a new release asap.

In the meantime, you should be able to select “Create New Child Theme” and then select “GeneratePress” from the menu to analyze and configure.

I’ve just updated the plugin and it will analyze the site but I don’t see the the option to create a child theme from an existing site. I can only create a new one which will lose all my customization.

You must port your customizations to the new child theme. Most of the time, all you need to do is check the “Copy Menus, Widgets and other Customizer Settings from the Parent Theme to the Child Theme” option when you configure the child theme.
