  • Hello @stefangebala,

    Thank you for reaching out,

I fully examined the issue you have raised on this topic and could not see it on my end. For troubleshooting, please do the following steps and let me know the results:

    0. Enable the primary theme(if you are using a child theme).
    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    2. Deactivate all plugins.
    3. Then, first, activate the Ocean Extra plugin.
    4. Check your issue.
    5. Then, activate your plugins one by one
    6. After activation of any plugins, check your issue

Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on the staging website/or on a fresh installation.

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).

Note 3: Also, please, instead of https://fbodystudio.pl/#kontakt use this one: https://fbodystudio.pl/#contact and check if it works.

Please recheck your issue and keep us posted.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards

Ok, I’ve proceed with all steps and it didn’t help.

I had to turn on Elementor, as homepage is made in it and anchors without Elementor wasnt active.

But with all plug-in disabled the problem was still there. It was working fine before update (but I dont remember on which version).

It’s slso working fine when I switch to Twenty Twenty-Four theme.

    Hello @stefangebala,

We have not received any similar reports so far, and we can not reproduce that issue on our end.
How can we replicate your steps to arrive at the issue on a fresh WordPress installation?

For more troubleshooting, please tell us if it works using an anchor link on the section instead of an anchor widget. In this case, set an ID in the section instead of using the widget.

I saw you are using the LiteSpeed cache plugin (a robust cache plugin), so I guess it affects your website. Can you please check the issue on another WordPress(with the same method you used on the current website)? Also, deactivate LiteSpeed, clear all level caches and cookies, and recheck the issue.

    Best Regards

    Hi,

    1. I’ve disabled LiteSpeed Cache now (just that you can check that issue is still present there).
    2. I have no idea how to set section ID in Elementor (i’m not using PRO version) – looks like its not available for BASIC users
    3. Please note, that this anchors are not working on homepage. But they are working fine on different pages:

    Hello @stefangebala,

Please follow the steps below and let us know the result,

If the links you are using are like this: “#anchor” change them to something like this: “https://mywebsite.com/#anchor”.

To set the ID for the sections, copy the anchor ID from the anchor widget
then paste it into the Section > Advanced Settings > ID:
    Next, remove the anchor widget.

Please recheck the issue and keep us posted.

    I hope it helps.

Changing from anchor widget to anchor ID in section fixed the issue. Thanks!

    You’re welcome.
    I’m glad we could help.

    Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue (Button not linking to anchor widget but to top of the page), but the provided solution sadly did not work for me.

Is there any other way to tackle the problem?

    Thank you and kind regards,
    Ava
