    Hi

I have built a landing page using Elementor, and for some reason the anchor links don’t work on mobile only.

I’ve tried updating the plugins and the theme but it’s not resolved it, I’d like to know what’s causing the issue so I can fix it?

    Thanks!

    Helen

  • Hello @helenmw

I don’t think it is Blocksy’s fault here, to be honest. After taking a look at your website it seems you’re not using the default Blocksy page template for the website that you’ve linked, so Blocksy’s code isn’t even being executed here.

Here’s one thing you can try. Try switching to the default 2021 WordPress theme. If the issue still happens, then it’s definitely something coming from Elementor itself.

Let me know how this goes.

    Hi @cteduard

I checked this and strangely when I switched to that theme, the second two buttons scrolled back to the top of the page (rather than the bottom section where the anchor link is), and the first button still didn’t work?

    Thanks!

    Hey @helenmw

This pretty much confirms that this isn’t a Blocksy issue. If these buttons are still misbehaving on another theme, then the problem is certainly Elementor’s.

I would try to contact Elementor’s support for this issue, as they know their code in and out and they will be able to provide a broader fix.

    Thanks

Great thank you will do ??

No worries. Please let us know how it goes and if we need to do something from our end.

    Have a great week!
