Anchor works but not as a popup

  • I’m using the latest version of WordPress, Divi and Divi Builder. I’ve assigned the CSS class popup and a unique ID (registration) to a section and then used #registration as the module link for a button further up the page. When the button is clicked, the page scrolls down to the correct section (like an anchored section would) but it does not appear as a popup. Furthermore, the section I want as a popup appears on the page before the button is clicked. I was hoping I could design a lengthy section that only appears when the button is clicked, and then it appears as a popup. Am I missing something?

  • Hi, I ran into a similar problem but in my case, it was just not setting the Section CSS and ID properly. I didn’t put those on the Blue Section element but on the Green one (the layout) and it did the anchor effect. Are you sure you put those on the Blue element?
