    Hi there,

I’ve been using 2k17 theme for quite a while now and I can’t seem to resolve one issue.

My website is using a static homepage, and top menu is using a page-to-scroll-id plugin in order to have animations for each homepage section.

Thing is, my website is also using a blog. On homepage, blog section displays new posts sneakpeaks and that’s okey.

Suddenly, page to scroll id stopped working for blog link in top menu. It’s not scrolling down to the homepage blog section containing sneakpeaks. I’m pretty sure it was working before, but now after posting a new post – automatic scrolling is not working.

How can I anchor blog section on homepage to “blog” in top menu so it could scroll properly just like other links and sections?

    Thank you in advance!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m not sure how that scrolling plugin works, but you definitely need an anchor point for the ‘Blog’ link in the menu. The anchor point should sit inside the blog section content. This is the case for the other items. Perhaps recently that anchor point was deleted.

Sorry for my delayed answer. I managed to solve this issue. So here is a quick tip for future answer seekers.

Twenty Seventeen has a blog section that sits in your control panel, in Pages section. You can try to edit it, but apart from changing the link or setting up a cover photo there is nothing else that you can do. There is no text editor like in your typical page editor. Therefore you can’t set up a page to scroll ID html code for blog section ex. [ps2id id=’YOURPAGE’ target=”/] like you would normally do for other pages.

BUT there’s always a way! ?? All you have to do is to check the ID of your latest blog post (ex. “post-500”). You can do it by either checking it directly in control panel (post section – click on your latest post – check the link) or you can use inspection tool in your browser.

Knowing the ID all you have to do is to connect it with your scroll to page ID in your menu settings (ex. type in “/#post-500” in URL address for desired menu link).

    Hope this would help anyone.
