Anchors only highlighted in the menu they have been clicked on

Dear Plugin-Authors,

Actually, when clicking on an item in the main menu, the clicked-on link is not highlighted in the sticky menu, because, practically, it is a “different” menu (even though it’s the same). So while the first link on top of the page I click on is not highlighted, everything works just fine once I click within the sticky menu.

Is there an easy fix to this? Maybe a known problem?
