    Hi @eelnnlpz,

The app does not report it’s location unless it has good cell coverage in the area.

    thanks,

Hello thank you so much for you reply, but if you allow me to contradict, because that is not the problem because if i unlock the phone and the app is in focus is reporting without a problem, but if block the phone, the app is not reporting the location in the background. im doing something wrong ??? you have observed or receive this report before ??, im giving the apropiate permissions in android. Thank you so much for your help

    Hi @eelnnlpz,

Can you explain what you mean by “block the phone” a little more? I don’t think I understand what that means.

    thanks,

    Hi Steve.

I am having the same problem that eelnnlpz is having. What he means with “block the phone” is when the phone locks the screen after a certain period of time. In other word if you are not “looking at the app” or you are doing something else on your phone like reading a mail or what ever the app will not report, even though it does consume a lot of resources.

    Thank you in advance. Regards

    Hi @ocarrera1.

I understand now. Thank you. Currently the app must be kept “in focus”. We do not have a timetable for adding the ability to report locations while the app is out of focus to the free version of the app at this time. However we are aware that users would like this feature.

    thanks,

    Hi Steve.

Thank you for your reply. Is there a premium version of the plugin, then? If so, where can a buy it?

    Hi @ocarrera1,

We do not have a stand-alone premium version however we do make custom versions of the plugin and app.

You can contact me at [email protected] to discuss.

After researching this I found that it is due to the settings in Android.

On your Android phone go to Settings-> Battery-> Battery Optimization-> All Apps-> Gps Plotter and click on “Don’t optimize” then “Done”.
