Animated GIFs in gallery not playing

  • When I’m editing a gallery, the animated GIFs in it “play” just fine. But when I actually look at the published page that the gallery is not, the GIFs appear still, which results in images that are different from one another looking as though they’re duplicated (because they have the same “base” for the animation).

    I can’t find any setting that would indicate why this is, and to be honest, I haven’t noticed it with my other FooGalleries… is there a setting or something I’m missing? I haven’t been able to find anything that indicates GIFs aren’t supported or require an add-on of some kind.
