    Hi,

    thanks for your plugin and the support you provide. Much appreciated!

    I have not succeeded in getting the plugin to run properly, though.

    I have installed it alright, set publish and expiration date and verified the new-group is correct.

    When I try using it as widget, I can see the title but no news

    When I try using it with shortcode (which is, what I want at the end) it does not show up at all.

    Funny thing is: it IS present in the source code, and it also creates an extra linefeed.

    Any ideas? Please? ??

    Thanks for the suggestion, but apparantly I have another problem not being fixed by your modification of the php code

    I tested some more and discovered, that it is the theme installed that causes the problems.

    Theme twentytwelve (stripped of all custom css code) does NOT display the ticker

    theme twentyfifteen, sixteen DO show the ticker.

    DOes this help to track down the problem?

    Hi @sirserendipity,

    We tested it with twenty twelve and it is working fine. Maybe some other plugin is conflicting with the functionalities of News Announcement Scroll. Try reproducing the same issue with only News Announcement Scroll active on your site and then check if the same issue persists or not.

    Also, make sure that the display order of the news is correct and doesn’t overlap with other news order.

    I must have messed it up on my side, sorry! Probably some custom css…

    I just deleted the theme and did a fresh install and the plugin now works as it is supposed to.
