What do you mean breaks at certain points? You can write a custom function to adjust the length of your titles, expand the width of the announcement container, or shorten the length of your titles.

    Thanks,

I guess because of the responsive nature of the page, the announcement title makes what looks like a strange line break in the middle of a sentence. Thanks for your quick response and help the other day!

While I have your attention – can you assist with something else? For some reason the timeline isn’t displaying two announcements. What would cause this?

    Thanks,

That would occur if the event has passed and you have things set to display upcoming events.

Can you provide a URL to the page that are having issues on?

What is the date of the two announcements that are not appearing?

    Both are old events.
1989 and 1998 events are not showing up.

Hmm, I’m not sure why they aren’t displaying.

How are the dates set up on the announcement page? do you have a month and day entered as well?

    (@gseiden)

They are all just faked essentially since I’m only concerned about the year. So – 01/01/1989…

After some testing it seems that when you alter the date using the new function, the sorting gets all wonky.

I’ll look into it now and see what may be wrong. I’ll report back here soon, when I find something.

In my test environment it seems like the 1974 post isn’t appearing either. Its very strange.

I don’t think it has to do with the post type being set, because the other posts don’t have the post type set in the URL and they are appearing for me. It’s very weird issue.

Thanks – does this mean that the short fix for now is to remove the custom function and then put it back in place?

    Plugin Author Evan Herman

    (@eherman24)

No I don’t think the custom function is whats interfering with things. It just seems like the year 1974 is causing issues…I have one set up with a date 1998 without any issues

Can you try changing the date to 12/12/1974 and 12/12/1998 ? That seems to have gotten them to display on my test site.

    Thread Starter gseiden

    (@gseiden)

    That didn’t help. Also – I don’t have anything from 1974.

Any other thoughts? I really like your plugin aside from this glitch.
