The plugin works great, as many users will attest. Sorry it didn’t work out for you, most likely some other plugin is interfering, or perhaps something your theme is doing. If you want help sorting it out, please post in the support forum. Otherwise, thanks for sharing your brilliant feedback.

For the sake of anyone else who may be reading this, Simple Basic Contact Form only sends email — it doesn’t send any “email notification”, as this person mentioned, and it so it certainly doesn’t send “each email notification four times”. The plugin wouldn’t have thousands of users if it did such a thing.

Perhaps, you have many admin users,that might be an explanation?

I wish people wanted to get help instead of just leaving a bad rating when something doesn’t work as expected. The plugin works great (look at the overall rating and number of users), so if something is weird or confusing, it’s always best to post a question in the plugin’s support forum, not immediately post a negative review.

I understand that you didn’t post this review, just wanted to mention for anyone who may not be aware of best practices within the WP community.
