Annoying break of validation by widgets …

  • I just need to vent this… it seems that many widgets just break my blogs validation totally…. Omitted elements, or wrongly placed ….

    Maybe it’s time that programmers pay more attention to validation issues since a break in validation can cause even the smallest errors on a site and it’s very difficult to detect where exactly the error comes from …

  • I was having a problem with one widget too. But it is all up to you to find out the problem and change the code acordingly. You can also post the problem on authors blog.

    As for the solution:
    Try using DOM inspector as a Firefox plugin or IE7 own webmaster toolbar. It helps you a lot with finding out those errors.
