Make it stop! That annoying “Enjoying Using FAQ plugin” message on the dashboard won’t go away. And I’m not clicking on either of the buttons and no one should have to. Allow users to dismiss it if they don’t want to answer.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Renee,

Sorry about any trouble you’re having with the feedback request. It actually should go away for a long while even if you just click the X.

Also, if you click either “Not Really” or “Yes”, it will go away forever. You do not have to submit or provide anything. It just gives you the option to submit feedback by email or leave a review. But there is also an option to decline that. Then the request will be gone forever.

If it’s coming back right away for you, when you click the X or either of the buttons, that would imply some kind of JavaScript conflict in your WordPress install. If that could be the case, I’d ask that you take a look at the console in your browser (https://balsamiq.com/support/faqs/browserconsole/), after having clicked one of those three buttons, and please let me know if there are any errors that display there.

    Thank you!

It would be better if the plugin had a dismiss option so users are not required to participate in a survey or go through hoops to make it go away.

The X should dismiss it. That’s what I was trying to say. If it doesn’t, there may be some kind of JavaScript conflict.

The X makes it go away but it comes back every time I click on a different dashboard item (posts, media, etc).

There were no errors in the console for my browser when I clicked the X

Again, please, pretty please, have a “Dismiss” option button that will make it go away.

THAT is the dismiss option. It is obviously not working correctly for you. Clicking the X should make it go away and not come back when you reload the page or go to a different page. If there’s no error in the console, then the only thing I can think of is maybe there is some issue/conflict in your admin that is making it so the dismiss class is not loaded by the time our JS is firing. We’ve updated the code to counter this, should it be the case, as it should not be an issue either way.

Please update to the new version and let me know if the dismiss now works.

    Thanks

Just circling back to say it finally dismissed by clicking the X. Thank you for updating the plugin!
