The tool is good but the low number of stars is related to the popup more or less demanding you to give feedback (you cannot get rid of it unless you give feedback, i.e. extremely annoying).

Wow @magnusgladjeklickse , that’s a very harsh rating given that you find the plugin useful.

If it’s not dismissing it could be a caching issue, it should not be intrusive. If you can tell us more about what’s happening (e.g. close buttons not working) we’re happy to take a look for you.

    Hi,

Cannot click on “Maybe later” and cannot click on “No, thanks”. If I click on either of them it just starts lagging/loading and nothing happes. The popup is there next time I log in to admin.

I am actually considering uninstalling just because of that since I do not use all the functionality anyway.

    KR,
    Magnus

Okay, this does suggest an issue. If you right-click on the page when it happens, choose Inspect, then view the Console tab, you will probably see a conflict or something return an error that it wasn’t saved properly.

The review request notification is not meant to be intrusive and we would hate for a conflict on your site related to saving your preference to be responsible for a 1 star review. We’re happy to take a look directly if you would like us to.

As an update, we were able to get access to this user’s site to confirm that preferences in our plugin could not be saved because of fatal errors caused by another plugin across all /wp-admin/ pages. The user was not able to dismiss our admin notice because of the sitewide 500 error; it was not an issue in our plugin.

We recommended some ways to trace the 500 errors using error logs and debug but unfortunately haven’t heard back from the user to confirm a resolution.
