• Hi Frank:
When Autoptimize & Cache Enabler are used together, Enabler notifies us that Autoptimize is already minifying script and to set Enabler to off (inline and defer or HTML)
However, when I set Enabler to inline and defer and deactivate Autoptimize my speed nearly reaches 100 on gtmetrix.can this be summarized and where does that leave my use of Autoptimize plugin (if still needed) for any advantages?
    Thanks

    Howard

    (@optimizingmatters)

I’m not that much into “performance scores”, rather focusing on real performance as in time to first byte, time to start render, time until doc loaded, time until fully loaded (cfr. waterfall chart on gtmetrix, although I prefer webpagetest.org).

That being said; it’s possible that in your context Cache Enabler alone is sufficient. There are no eternal truths in performance optimization, just configuration & testing & re-configuration.

And I guess I’ll have to have another look at Cache Enabler to see what the keycdn guys have been up to ??
