“Anonymise request explanation” adding characters to paragraph

  • Under the Settings tab, the field Anonymise request explanation, when I Save Changes,

    here

    with a closing anchor tag and quotes is added at the beginning of the text field.

    I can bypass that by putting my text on the page itself, but if I do that, then the default text is shown, too.

    Seems like a simple fix, and I’m happy to do it myself, if I can get a hint as to where. Otherwise, so far, in my testing it’s fab! Will leave a review once I get settled in. ??

    I should’ve updated this thread — apologies; I’d forgotten about

    What’s happening is that any HTML (permitted per the note right there under the field) is partially repeating upon Save Settings. So it’s not adding “here” and some code; what it’s adding depends on what’s entered into the field itself.

    Does that make sense?

    I know there are tons of support posts — this one isn’t urgent. I added my text/code to my PAGE and left the Explanation field empty.
