• Hello,

I am building a website for a little association. As for all association we will have to organize poll (to name managers, to approve financial results…). I have installed your plugin and configured some polls to test.

I have simulated some votes and tried to see results. All seemed ok until I went to the part Poll results / view votes where I have been able to see who had voted. But I have been surprised to see that if I click on the “user type” there is the choice between view details and trash and If I click on “view detail” I can see what has been the choice.

Maybe your plugin is just for non anonymous survey and not real ballot.

Please have I any means to not record the result/user.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

    Hello

Unfortunately I do not fully understand the issue.

If you want only anonymous votes, you will need to set “Vote Permissions” to “Guest” only.

With this setting you will be able to review the votes and see what has been the choice but you won’t know the identity of the voter.

Is this what you are looking for?

    Hello,

Thanks for your answer, I am going to try to be clearer:

As it is for an association I have in fact several constraints:
1 – only members of the association must be able to vote (onmly member can access to the site),
2 – Each member must be able to vote for a specific poll (question) only once,
3 – I must know who has voted and how many members hvae voted due to legal constraints for some vote (quorum)
4 – It must not be possible to know what has been the answer of a member (it is why I am looking for anonymous vote)

In fact, there are more or less the same constraint than for an election.

Hope that this is clearer and that it is possible as I appreciate a lot your plugin…

    Best regards

    Hello

    Thank you for the info.

Almost all requirements are supported by the current version.

Please contact us at yop.help{at}gmail.com for a solution on anonymous votes even if voters are required to login.

hi, we have similar case scenario. is your solution ready? is it part of the plugin or do we need to customize something?

Hi. I’ve used Yop Poll for a few years and we have similar requirements to @mezianedavincipotes
I used to be able to have users log in but record their votes anonymously. I’ve noticed that this has now changed. Can you re-enable anonymous but logged in vote results?
    Thanks.

@loulousantaana I think @mezianedavincipotes was looking for a different feature.

    But you are correct.
We will add the feature you mentioned.

Even though I put the poll for guests only, it keeps asking me for login when voting. Help in this problem please
Aunque ponga la encuesta solo para invitados , me sigue pidiendo inicio de sesión al votar. Ayuda en este problema por favor

Can you share a link to your poll so we can take a look?

Thank you for sending over the link.

It looks like you are using a cache plugin.
In this case we recommend setting the poll to load with ajax and then clear your page/website cache.
