Anonymous Submission suddenly not working

    Hi,

    As of today we’re having problems with the anonymous submission function on our frontend submission form. I checked the Settings and it is set to Yes for Enable Anonymous Submissions. The user associated is a Subscriber role with the following capabilities:
    delete_events
    edit_events
    read_private_events
    delete_recurring_events
    edit_recurring_events
    delete_locations
    edit_locations
    read_private_locations
    read_other_locations
    manage_bookings
    upload_event_images

    But now when a user anonymously submits they are shown Unauthorized Access
    You do not have the rights to manage this Event.

    And the event they submitted is sent to Drafts instead of Pending. Any advice?

    hi,

    can I know if you assigned any page under Events > Settings > Pages > Other Pages > Front-end management pages > Edit events page ?

    Hi Angelo,

    Yes I do have an existing page assigned to the Edit events page. We’ve run a bunch of tests and it seems we get the ‘Unauthorized Access’ message when we attempt to upload an Event image that is too large. But shouldn’t it be showing a message instead that says the image is too large?

    Also, when we attempt to upload an event image that is too large, the event is saved to Draft. Shouldn’t it not be saved at all until the event submitter uploads an event image that is the maximum size?

    do you have sample link to your site for us to see? also, instead of using edit events page how about using shortcode [event_form] instead? set edit events page to blank or none
