    i solve this.

    on the file searchautomplete.php line 105 changed get_posts for query_posts… wired!

    I’m not sure why this would be the fix but the use of query_posts is strongly discouraged as it directly modifies the overall query: https://stephenharris.info/die-query_posts-die/

    It almost seems as if there is a capabilities issue with the posts being returned on the public side. Do any of the posts have viewing rules applied to them? For example, are they only viewable by someone logged in or of a certain role?
