    Hello there,

I need a plugin like this one for a big project, so I am considering purchasing the pro version. But I need to know if I can stack graphics on top of an image and easily change those graphics later. Let me explain my needs with an example.

Basically, I need to load a community map with several housing units. Each of them should be a hotspot(?) which loads an info box with some text and a link to the floor plan when clicked.

The issue here is that on top of each unit I need to load a small symbol stating whether it is sold, available or planned to be built in the future. Is that possible?

Once the project is delivered, a sales person will be responsible of changing those graphics when the housing units are sold (I can train them to do it or send them some instructions). I suppose that if the graphic can be loaded on top of the unit, it can be changed later. Am I right?

    Thank you for your time.

    Best regards,

    Itsasiak.

    Hi Itsasiak,

Thanks for the note, there isn’t a way to change the color or graphic right from within the admin (to indicate whether it’s sold, available for purchase, etc.) You are able to upload a new image to replace the existing one, so if you wanted to make those indications on the graphic file itself, you could upload a new copy (as long as it’s the exact same pixel dimensions as before) and all your drawn areas, more info, etc. would stay. It requires using a graphics program to make changes, but we’ve seen some people use Draw Attention that way.

The rest of the features you mentioned all sound pretty doable. An example similar to what you’re describing is up at https://laltitude.ca/les-plans/

Hope that helps, let us know if you have additional questions!

Would it be possible to display different hotspots with different colors (like some red, some blue)?

    Thank you very much!

Unfortunately that isn’t possible right now, since everything is drawn as HTML5 canvas objects it can’t be styled using css. It’s on our list of potential features for future versions.

    Thanks,
    Nathan
