    Hi NUCUTA

Sorry to hear you’ve had such a poor experience with Page Builder. We’ve tried to keep as much functionality in the free version as possible. In fact, a lot of the addons (like the post type builder), are entirely separate functionality that just happens to use Page Builder.

A lot of what we’re selling with the premium addon is support via email. This is something that a lot of people want.

Being a company, we do need some form of monetization to pay our staff. This goes towards improving and supporting the free version too. If there’s nothing in the premium addons that interest you, then you can continue enjoying the free version – we’ll be adding a lot to it in the future.

I don’t have a problem of buying a premium plugin, in fact I bought visual composer which does the exact same things just as this, and is more expensive. I understand you have employees to pay, and families to feed.

see, I commented on here and went and bought visual composer.

the problem is how you advertise it as a free plugin
“it’s free, and always will be.
Page Builder is our commitment to the democratization of content creation. Like WordPress, Page Builder is, and always will be free. We’ll continue supporting and developing it for many years to come. It’ll only get better from here.”

I know the paragraph doesn’t imply it doesn’t have premium contents, but let’s be honest, it indeeds gives a false vibe that the plugin is completely free of charge.
It doesn’t anywhere mention about premium contents in the main page in here wordpress, but then when installed it via wordpress plugin install.php in the site and checked the features of the plugins, a lot of cool features are not for free. I feel like this is a deceptive practice. so please if you sell at least put that on the main page of the plugin. I will increase the rate by another star since you at least took time to reply. If you stated about the premium contents of this plugin in the main wordpress page, I will give all the stars.

Visual Composer use a lot more memory and on a larger pages, it’s slows down. This may have some paid extensions, but also has a lot more free addons in third party plugins.

Btw, I have nothing to do with SiteOrigin. This was a private opinion from a Web-developer.
