The question I should have asked, how do I upload a screen image? Is it via YouTube or some other way?

It uses the thumbnail provided by YouTube, can you disable the “cache thumbnails locally” for a second and retest?

Interesting, ‘No’ shows the image, but significantly slows the site
‘Yes’ the image disappears, and the site speed improves

something (a security plugin?) is blocking access to e.g. https://nlp-training.org/wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyteCache.php?origThumbUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fimg.youtube.com%2Fvi%2FV9JsWjY5B80%2Fhqdefault.jpg, try finding out what is doing so and try to reconfigure it to allow wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyteCache.php being accessed directlly?

Unfortunately this a bit beyond my technical capability, do you offer a service to do this sort of thing for clients? (or recommend someone else?),

maybe ask your host? it might be a configuration at their end to begin with ??

Switching off the Siteground security plugin seemed to do the trick,

(Not that I like switching it off!)

maybe ask Siteground if the exception for wp-content/plugins/wp-youtube-lyte/lyteCache.php can be configured, that way you can keep “siteground security” on?
