    I recently launched this small website which had been developed on my server (Siteground) and moved to Ionos hosting which client had set up (not my choice). Wordfence alerted me a couple of days ago about unnecesary php.ini files which I deleted; and to check I installed Antivirus which showed ‘alarm’ at 2 theme pages.

    /themes/neve/inc/views/header.php –

    $cart_widget = ob_get_contents();

    $markup = ob_get_contents();

    $markup = ob_get_contents();

    and

    /themes/neve/inc/views/pluggable/pagination.php –

    $output = ob_get_contents();

    I checked Neve install on another site which did not show an alert, is this just Antivirus being overcautious?

    Thanks, Steve

  • Hi @wiredsteve,

    Thank you for using Neve!

    Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to reproduce the alerts locally, so this must be only the antivirus being overcautious.

    If you see that the issue persists or if you can reproduce it on more instances, don’t hesitate to add more details and we’ll investigate it further.

    Best regards,

    Irinel
