Any clean optimized no ajax theme left?

Themes, themes, themes.
I’m looking for a light, clean theme.
A theme that don’t use AJAX at all.
A theme without useless mysql requests or fancy features to trigger them.
An optimized theme for speed and low resources.
I’m looking for a theme that follow wordpress guidelines.

I thought of twenty seventeenth, but it hardly looks like a blog to me.
Most websites recommending themes are just a lame excuse to sell premium themes.
They even recommended terrible themes as “fast and clean” when they would cripple any dedicated server with ajax requests on a busy site.

I’m aware of varsnish and i’m aware of caching plugins and i use them, still looking for something light. I’m using newsmag premium theme and oh boy…THE bloating…
Anyways. I’m up for suggestions.
