Yes. When you configure “Public facing pages” as “Block by country“, this plugin would block requests coming from specified countries. As a result, analytics would never be triggered.

Please note that “Block by country” doesn’t care about “referral traffic” is good or bad for you. So you have to identify which countries are “bogus”.

I set it up to block by country RU (https://screencast.com/t/SjtEp3tlNkrt), but it’s also blocking IPs from other countries (https://screencast.com/t/z5k3DYjnYj), including 63.143.42.245 which has a lookup of US. What am I doing wrong?

And I’ve been able to visit the site using a free Russian proxy server 62.220.55.27 port 8080.

The site is floridaqualityroofing.com.

Thank you for using my plugin.

If you enable “Prevent Zero-day Exploit” on “Back-end target settings” section, you can find malicious requests from some countries other than RU in the “Logs” tab.

And the domain for 63.143.42.xxx is uptimerobot.com in US. It seems to monitor your server is up or down. The rule bot:HOST in “UA string and qualification” would allow uptimerobot.com even if it comes from RU. So please find the IP address in the Logs and where it accessed. If it accessed to your front-end and was blocked, there’s something I should fix.
