Any ID or password can be logged in. Also, how to use the lost password link

Sorry to hear you are having this issue:

1. You can log in with any ID or password. When you sign-up, you do not check the ID and password that you registered at all, but just go to the redirect page that you set up.
What additional settings do I need?

I tried to replicate it on my website but it worked fine:

In case the username or password is incorrect it won’t redirect.

Can you share the form using Google drive and we can take a look?

2. Click the ‘Lost your password’ link on the Sign-in page to go to the wordpress.com password finding page.
If I want to go to the site I created and enable password reset operations, what additional operations should I do?

I am afraid Forminator doesn’t have the Lost password option at this moment, it is on our to-do list but we don’t have an estimated time yet, the website should use the default WordPress page.

Thank you for the form.

I was able to replicate the issue for the registration form, for some reason it is letting me know the username is empty but I did check and it is well mapped.

I sent this to our developers so we can check why it is happening and update you once finding more information.

For the login form, I was able to replicate it too if I am already logged in.

This is a reported bug and our developers are already working to fix it,

The issue is happening because the form is not hiding for logged in users.

Could you try the form using an incognito mode?

Hi @deok,

We got further feedback from our team regarding a workaround. Could you please try resaving the Username with a different field and then resave it back and see whether that resolves the issue?

That’s under “User Registration > User Meta Mapping” change the current field assigned to “Username” to “Name – Last Name | name-1-last-name” field and save it.

Once saved, select the “Name – First Name | name-1-first-name” field again and save the form again, and see whether that resolves the issue.
