Any idea on how to use the "Add New Custom Field" feature to boost SEO

  • I want my blog to Be All That It Can Be. I’d like to add metadata to my posts to make them more readable by search engines, etc. to boost readership. Any ideas? Thanks.

    The primary metadata that search engines look at is the Description metadata.

    One of the easiest ways to add custom metadata to each page is to use an SEO plugin.

    Eg Yoast’s SEO plugin creates a separate field in each page/post where you can enter your own text for the Description metatag.

    This I think would be like the field you are thinking of creatting but Yoast has done all the work for you to get that text in the Description tag.
