Any idea why its doing this?

  • Not only does the search function fail to return results that it should, if one simply clicks on the “Previous Posts” link, one can only get back as far as May 6th. I’m calling this “vanishing posts” but they can still be accessed through the admin interface.These two issues may be related, but I can’t be sure.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
