Any image gallery plugins out there that enable galleries on the homepage?

  • I am looking for a plugin that allows me to use each image as an individual post, therefore, being able to add each image to it’s own post category.. AND Have each picture image be in gallery format on the HOME PAGE. Which also supports a lightbox, colorbox, or thickbox equivalent.. jQuery of course..

    What would be perfect is if I could put NextGen Gallery on my home (index) page:

    https://nextgen-gallery.com/gallery-page/ yet still have each image be its own post? or is this too much ?

    If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
