Any known limitations with HTTPS/ Cloudflare/ WPEngine

    Hi,

    This plug-in looks great, but installing it caused my entire wordpress site to become extremely sluggish and ultimately unresponsive.
    Cloudflare sent me an error message saying the problem was likely due to excessive requests on the server.

    The problem resolved when I removed IP Based Login, but when I tried to install it again the same thing happened.

    I just wondered if you were aware of potential issues that could be causing this. I wonder if it’s a redirect loop, or a problem with HTTPS, or caching from WPEngine or Cloudflare?

    I just thought I’d ask if there are any known scenarios where IP Based Login could cause a redirect loop or excess server demands etc?

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

    This is the first report about such issue.

    I will try to setup a similar environment and try to replicate the issue.

    A dev site will help to debug the issue faster.

    Thanks Brijesh for taking the time to respond, and I really appreciate your offer of assistance.

    It appears the issue has been resolved now.

    It looks like it was caused by a redirect loop related to HTTP/HTTPS, CloudFlare and another plug-in I had installed from a while ago, Really Simple SSL. Deactivating Really Simple SSL seems to have now allowed IP Based Plug in to work without issue.
