    Fantastic plugin! Just what I was looking for and beautiful design/layout (especially #1, I like #4, but looks too much like a google ad. ?? )

    I see that you can pass category to the shortcode, but I can’t seem to figure out how to pass tags? Is this not currently supported and if not, are there any plans?

    I would not like to have ALL posts of a particular category to display in the slider, instead I would like to only include specific posts, but I want the automation of this plugin. So basically. I would like it to show all posts, but only posts which have been tagged with something like “featured”. This way I can simply add this tag to new posts which I want to show up in the slider.

    Any suggestions on how I can get this to work.

    Also, a separate issue, but it seems I can’t get the media size to take effect. I have tried using the shortcode attribute media_size=”large”, but it still uses FULL.

    I’ve even tried hard coding the change from full to large in the file: wppsac-slider.php. Same result though, I’m not sure what’s going wrong. Thanks!

    Hello,

    Sorry for the inconvenience, our plugin does not support tab-wise display functionality.

    Note: Please do not copy and paste the shortcode parameter because it causes the quote(“) issue. Please write manually.

    Thanks,

    Sorry, let me clarify my question/post a bit further. I did notice that one can filter by tags using both the category and taxonomy attributes in the short code.

    Maybe it’s just me, but it wasn’t that clear on how to accomplish this, but I did figure it out, so with the short code, you need to include taxonomy=”post_tag” and then also include category=”thetagid”.

    So for example, something like this:
    taxonomy=”post_tag” category=”76″ show_category_name=”false”

    this does accomplish filtering by tag, however, it also unfortunately lists out all the tags tagged on that post in the display. Which, unfortunately, I do not want to do. I would like to have the single box showing the Category of the post but also filter on tags.

    It seems with the current way it’s configured, this is not possible. As it defaults to showing the category (in this case, the tags), because that’s what I’m using to filter. So for now, I just have to hide those on the screen with the show_category_name=”false” attribute. In a perfect world. I would like to filter on tags, but also be able to display the posts category box. Visually, I really like the design and that category box with the nice color really pops on the screen.

    Any solution to this?

    Oh, and you can ignore the image size question, I got that working. For some reason, large and full and medium all looked the same. I’m not sure what I was doing wrong. But when I changed from large to one of the image sizes my theme users, it worked. So no idea what the deal with the default WordPress sizes were, but it’s at least working for what I need.

    Thanks again for this plugin, I will definitely be giving it 5 star review!
