any plans for mu capability?

I can activate it either network wide or just on a single site of a network without any issue. What exactly is your scenario?

hmm, this is strange that it’s working on ur end for a single site but i’ve already tried a few different sites w/o activating via the network admin, where i can activate on each site w/ no problem, however the menu is still fixed and not floating.

yet when i go back to the network admin and activate it, i’m happy since it’s scrolling like it should be.

i also checked the log, no errors, and even tried with a few other plugins i know that work in both a network and single site activation, no issues or errors either.

so that’s why i thought there might be a slight issue with using ur plugin in a mu setup since i didn’t read that it was compatible though many are even they say they are not.

ideally, what i was hoping for is to be able to activate it via the network admin and it forces all site menus to float w/o having to activate each site, even though i’m mot able to get it to work! ;(

any ideas? because i think this is a must have item to have, no matter who u r. it saves time.

I just tested it with WP 3.6 (Beta 3) and plugin version 1.0.8 and it works flawless for me both ways, activated individually on any site of a multisite network and activated network-wide.

Maybe your user account has the “Float the admin navigation menu ” un-checked on the profile page?

same results as before, working on the network but not on individual sites. i also re-checked the user setting and it’s checked for the floating menu.

i think what the problem may be is that i have more menu items when glancing at the screen on the individual blogs – meaning, i need to scroll down to see all of the menu items on the left – so i’m thinking, can wp be preventing ur plugin from kicking in because of this reason? i also show no error messages.

i don’t know, just thinking out loud here, since it kinda makes sense because on the network admin menu you can see the bottom of the menu w/o having to scroll down, and the rest of the sites you need to scroll down.

That’s probably it:

The admin menu is floating (sticky; fixed) as long as the viewport of the browser is taller than the admin menu itself, otherwise it reverts to it’s default behavior, glued to the top of the backend.
