Any recommendation for configuration for forms accessibility

I don’t know a lot about Gravity Forms; but there’s an article about improving Gravity Forms for accessibility that you might find useful.

Gravity Forms has a lot of accessibility issues, so if it’s possible to do what you need with Contact Form 7, you may have a better experience using that.

Contact Form 7 is also not accessible immediately out of the box, but you can get a better result with less work. Here’s an article on setting up an accessible form using Contact Form 7.

adowdle – Thanks! I’ve written the developers to see if it resolves the validation alert issue – although I’m thinking from the description that it probably doesn’t.

Joe, you were totally right on about Contact Form 7 but we run multisite with faculty and grad student users and there was no way we could teach them to do it correctly….we need a solution that can be done on a global level.

The validation error alert thing seems so totally obvious. I don’t understand why they don’t build it in to every form builder than contains required fields or other validations that cause errors.

In case anyone is interested, I’m in conversation with the developer of the Gravity Forms WCAG 2.0 Form Fields plugin re: this issue.
