Any Recommendations on Tech Help?

(This may not be the right forum for my question, but if it’s not, please let me know what that forum might be, because I’m not sure where to begin and any advice will be most appreciated)

I recently hired a designer to create a custom WordPress theme for me and get my site up and running. It’s up. It looks good. But there are still a couple problems. And my web designer has dropped off the face of the earth and won’t return my calls. Now, I need to find someone who can make these final tweaks, and I want to find someone reliable who I can hire to make periodic changes and tweaks as needed. I’m not rich, but willing to pay what’s necessary for someone reliable.

Any recommendations of a good WordPress techie? Any good ideas (beyond Craigslist) where I can look for such a person?
