ANy script wont work in wordpress

  • Hi

    I have moved my website over to WP as it allows me to get a blog and to use the FAlbum plug for Flickr

    However, my javascript or DHTML script wont work in new pages

    I have tried two things:

    – I put the part of the code that goes in the head of the page in header.php (as it is called by every new pages)and I put the part of the code that goes in the body in the new page. a message popsup teling me the script failed to load.

    – The other thing I tried was to directly put the head of the page in the page composer of wordpress…same error message

    I cant even paste a badge like Yahoo! My Web !!!! that’s insane!!

    I am using the theme Ambiru

    of course, i’d like to avoid making html pages imitating my theme to get the script to work

    If anyone has a solution I would realy appreciate

  • Turn off the wysiwyg editor
    admin -> users -> scroll to bottom left.

    Next uncheck the box for:
    “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”
    admin -> options -> writing.

    Should work now.
