Any suggestions?

  • Not sure I want to ask, but any suggestions on this website? I’m still hesitant on the slider, but it looks so perty on other people’s websites that I thought I’d include it on mine..but looking at it, i’m not so sure.

    Also not sure I like the “twitter bar” up at the top there. I am not sure how to customize it to make it…not as white. Maybe a suggestion for a good twitter plugin instead?

    Website is still under development, but the general gist of it is online.

    It looks like some of the Amazon ads are cut off though.

    I like your site and its rich content that can rank you high. But there is a small problem that you may perhaps like to avoid. You have 5 outgoing links in an article of less than 300 words. Out of this, 2 outgoing links are appearing twice. I do not think it is necessary to repeat the links. Such links are looked upon as PAID LINKS by Google, and can be categorized as what Google calls link farms or link spamming by Google. I think you are well aware of it.

    Sometimes you find multiple links in comments that run into several levels deep. But they are NOT SIMILAR to links in the same article. And the links in comments are not looked down upon comments by Google, unless they are from spam sites, illegal and other objectionable sites. You can get references to these in Google Webmaster Guidelines. If you need links to the guidelines by Google, I can provide you.
