Any video uploaded has a box over it and can’t be viewed.

Building out our new site, and down to user testing before launch. When I upload a video as a user, the video player has a box (gray with gradient) covering the video. (Site using BuddyBoss for format.) If I click on the miniplayer, I can watch the video correctly. If you return to the main player, goes back to the box covering. Enlarge and full screen both have the box as well.

If I disable the plugin, the video works fine. Ran through all other plugins/combinations as well, and it is definitely WP Dark Mode. I saw that you can add videos in the “Video replacement” section, but that’s not feasible when set up as a community where users can and will upload media. And it’s a premium feature..can’t test before purchasing to even see if there’s a work around.

I’ve built the color scheme and layout around the dark mode provided by this plug in, so I’d love to get it to work and be done instead of trying another dark plugin.
