any way to disable admin-ajax.php call?

I like prompting my users to whitelist me, but I noticed this plugin is doing a admin-ajax.php call every pageload which is increasing my page load complete time by ~3 seconds or about 50%.

Can’t afford that, so I’ve deleted the plugin. But if there’s a way to stop the plugin from making that call and still have the functionality, please let me know.
