I have a button on my site that creates a custom post, with two variations depending on whether the button is clicked or held, that is using jquery and ajax. What I would like to do is to have the user’s current location to be detected and saved as part of the post content when the button is clicked or held, as if they were clicking on the current location widget or shortcode – is that possible and if so how can I implement it? If it is any easier, if the current location can just be saved to the user meta as part of the button click/hold, something that I can already do with the shortcode/widget when it is clicked, then I can access the information and add it to the custom post as it is saved, but I do not want the widget or shortcode output, or have the user do anything except click/tap my button (and agree to the browser location prompt when necessary). I hope someone can assist.

I have now coded my own alternative, so even if this was possible with your plugin, you have no need to respond, not that it appears you were going to anyway. Marked as resolved and plugin uninstalled.
