How to pass a url parameter to a hidden field

I see it’s pretty easy to do this – add the field to the form, add the value in the page url (e.g. ‘?postID=123’), hide it with css.

but seems to only work with the form shortcode. I can’t get it to work with the payment button shortcode or the direct url.

Am I missing something?

this isn’t a feature at the time, sorry to disappoint. I noticed you also put in a ticket about this. I have taken this up as a feature request. The developers are always looking for popular ideas to improve the plugins.
