Like many others out there, I am tired of Media Cloud not offering any technical support at all for their premium members. I’m having to run off an older version of their plugin at the moment. I would love to migrate to Offload Media if there’s a way to do it that doesn’t involve having to upload every single image on my site again to get it to work. Well, I suppose if I could just go into my media library and use a replace image option one at a time, maybe I might consider that. I’m not looking to have to delete my entire media library and upload it all over again. There’s way too much content, meta data, seo configuration and so on with it. I once contacted Offload Media and they answered every question I had and responded very quickly to my email. I was impressed by customer service and I would love to switch plugins if I can do it without having to spend several days manually deleting images from posts, pages, and media library in order to add them back one at a time. Any reasonable way of migrating? Any suggestions would help me and many others.

    Hi @supernaturalbird,

We’re not familiar with how Media Cloud handles its data in WP. Do you know the answer to these questions, which will help us determine how you might be able to switch to WP Offload Media?

    1. Does MC rewrite the URLs in the HTML stored in the database for a post, or dynamically rewrite URLs from local to remote when the post is displayed to a visitor?

    2. Does MC use a consistent predictable path in the bucket for storing the objects? (e.g. wp-content/uploads/2022/11/photo.jpg)
