Content Restriction within the page by specific role

  • Hi, I’ve been trying to use the shortcode for Showing content to specific roles but it seems to be not working to me. I’m trying to restrict some specific text based on the role.

    About restricted content …
    Can we restrict the download of a specific file for a user’s group ?
    (With a shortcode or code in the “a” tag ?)

    I know I can restrict a full page (or post) but i just want to restrict some files inside a public page or post
