Any way to sort by Date Modified?

    Yes you can. Unless you have directories enabled. If directory tree is enabled, then filename is hardwired as initial sort, so that the directories appear at the top. Otherwise, if directories are not enabled, simply add sortfirst=mod or sortfirst=mod-desc to your shortcode. It’s also an option in the shortcode generator.

    You’ll see “Initial Sort” in the right-hand column, third from the bottom. Date Modified (Asc) and Date Modified (Desc) are two of the options.
